Up The Vigile-Ante: Oliver Chooses Syracuse

Nolan is reporting that Syracuse has another LB to add to the 2011 mix, this time from Florida.

Oliver Vigile, a 6-foot-2, 215-pound linebacker out of Miami Central High School gave Orange coaches a verbal commitment to play at SU starting in 2011. Vigile is the eighth commitment in SU's next recruiting class and the second linebacker to choose Orange in four days.

Rivals.com says that Vigille chose Syracuse over South Florida, Central Florida, and FIU and he was recruited by Scott Shafer.  No Akron this time...this time.

Rivals doesn't give him any stars and there isn't much in the way of stats or news to go on, so we're just going to have to trust Scott's word for it.  Miami Central has a history of churning out recruits so perhaps Oliver is just the first of many more to come.

Let's check out Ollie's game footage in the meantime.
