Thanks to some late scheduling juggling --- Virginia Tech vanished, replaced (eventually) by Colgate --- Syracuse was left with a pair of opponents from the former Division I-AA. As a result, Syracuse must win seven games to become bowl eligible. It's not that different a situation; Syracuse wasn't beating Virginia Tech, anyway. But a leap of three victories is still quite a bit for a rebuilding team, which remains a year away from pushing its way into the middle of the Big East.

I don't see the Syracuse offense being capable of playing catchup if they get behind early on the road in Seattle. If that happens they will have to throw the ball way more than they would like which could be a recipe for disaster. I have to favor the Huskies by a couple of TD's in this one.
