Oh, get used to about 5,000 more plays on kindergarten with the impending arrival of QB John Kinder. But then again, you probably knew that already.
Incoming SU recruit Kinder will be joined by fellow soon-to-be Orange Macky MacPherson, Malcolm Cater, Austin Lane and Steven Rene when the inaugural New York State High School Football Classic is played on Sunday. Those players as well as almost 100 more arrive today to begin practicing for the event. (Check out Cater and Macky here).
The game, which is happening in large part due to Doug Marrone, will pit Upstate All-Stars vs. Downstate All-Stars.
If you want to get a first-hand look at the newbies, there will be mutiple practices over the next four days and a banquet on Saturday night at the Oncenter. Bring your autograph book...nerd.
The game itself will be played at 3 pm on Sunday in the Dome. And of course, because no event at Syracuse University can be without one, A family Fun Zone will be operational. God forbid...
