Great goaltending and physical play. The Army lacrosse team displayed both in abundance earlier this season in the Carrier Dome, and Syracuse expects to see more of the same when the Cadets return at 7:30 p.m. Sunday in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.

McLean said Devendorf already ranked alongside Saints legends Terrence Lewis and Kenny McFadden for sheer ability. "He's up there because he's deceptively athletic. It's hard to say who is the better player, it's just different generations. Terrence was a little bigger, not as athletic but he could definitely shoot the ball very consistently. Kenny Mac was up there too."

The Orange have one of their most manageable schedules in recent years and should make progress in the second year under coach Doug Marrone. With two FCS schools on the schedule, however, Syracuse will have to shoot for at least seven wins or hope not enough teams finish 6-6 this year to fill all 70 NCAA bowl slots.

Students in the Syracuse University Beer & Wine appreciation class wrapped up their semester with an important lesson on Yuengling Beer! Professor Tim Bar invited us into his classroom to share some information about the history and products of America's Oldest Brewery.

"The Big East opponents would probably get me to splurge for the $200 season tickets," said longtime fan, Charley Hibbert, while licking the sauce off of the ends of his bare baby back rib bones. "I mean, I'd be really excited about playing Virginia Tech and Miami...huh? What do you mean they're in the ACC now? SOUTHERN MISS TO THE TOP!"
