Watching juniors Joel White of SU and Brian Karalunas of Villanova play longstick defensive midfield as well as the position can be played was worth the price of admission regardless of the wide margin of victory. White is a preseason All-American. Karalunas was the Colonial Athletic Association's defensive player of the year last season as a sophomore. Each lived up to the hype Monday.
