Syracuse University Athletics - Michael Makes History at Pittsburgh
Senior forward Nicole Michael became Syracuse’s all-time leading scorer as the Syracuse University women’s basketball team (17-5, 4-5) defeated the Pittsburgh Panthers (12-9, 1-7), 87-80, in overtime on Tuesday evening.

There are several additional prospects that chose the Orange over other major programs. Defensive lineman Max Beaulieu chose Syracuse over Tennessee, Nebraska, South Carolina, and Wisconsin to name a few. Defensive back Jeremi Wilkes chose Syracuse over Florida State as well. Beaulieu started classes at SU last month along with his high school teammate Brice Hawkes. Both attended University School in Florida. Their former head coach there, Roger Harriott, is the Orange's new running backs coach.
