MookieTransferWatch: December 27th

via

The Mookie Jones Transfer System is designed to guide our protective measures when specific information to a particular Syracuse roster or region on the bench is received. It combines transfer threat information with vulnerability assessments and provides communications to public safety officials and the Syracuse fan public.

 • Mookie Jones Transfer Advisories contain actionable information about an incident involving, or a threat targeting, critical Mookie Jones' infrastructures and Facebook statuses.
 • Mookie Jones Transfer Information Bulletins communicate information of interest to Cuse nation’s critical infrastructures that do not meet the timeliness, specificity, or significance thresholds of warning messages or thrown headbands.
 • Color-coded Threat Level System is used to communicate with public safety officials and the public at-large through a threat-based, color-coded system so that protective measures can be implemented to reduce the likelihood or a Mookie Jones transfer.

Latest News: With the OOC schedule complete and Big East play upon us, Jim Boeheim has almost certainly figured out what his normal rotation is going to be. Smart money is that James Southerland played his way into some minutes with the way he stepped up over the last week. Odds aren't quite as good that room exists for Mookie. For JB to go ten-deep on a rotation, that's going to take a lot of convincing and it doesn't seem like enough was done.

Hence, if Mookie was going to transfer, now would be the time. So his Facebook message on Christmas shouldn't have been too surprising:

One Hour to make the descion if im staying or going, smh,by far this has been the hardest thing too do,smh

After some thinking on it as well as poking and prodding by fans in both directions, Mookie came to the same conclusion he came to last year. He's staying.

Ima stick it out, basketball may not work out,but i know ill get a great education at the end of the day,i love syracuse and evreything that it has done for me,Coach has alot of power,he might not be abale to help me with the ball part, but i know for sure he can help me get a good job good enough to support myself ,daughter and family

And just for good measure...

for now on,ima just let evreything play its self out,They say God has a plan for evreyone, lets see what plan he has for me,i no whatever it is,it will be good,im already off to a goo start

And so, thus ends another year of MookieTransferWatch (or does it?).He's off to a goo start, let's hope he keeps the goo going.
