Varsity Tailgate remembers the lost bowls and previews the current ones - ESPN
The Gotham Bowl was supposed to start in 1960 with a game between Oregon State and … and … and … they couldn't find anyone willing to come to New York to play Oregon State. Really. (By the way, the history of New York metro region bowls is not really a positive sign for the new Pinstripe Bowl.)

All about the Big East: False hopes - College Basketball -
Two of the most successful teams in the Big East to date may not make the NCAA tournament. Cincinnati (9-0) and Louisville (8-1) have rung up victories, but as conference play approaches, there are plenty of reasons to be skeptical of both programs. Cincinnati – which has yet to face an opponent from one of the six power conferences – has played one of the nation’s easiest schedules.

Syracuse University redshirt freshmen quarterbacks John Kinder, who has played on the scout team during practice this season, and Jonny Miller, sidelined since shoulder surgery last year, offer the Orange two potential bright spots for the future at the position (Ed. - I like Jonny Miller. Just sayin')
