Syracuse has a big one on Saturday, boys and girls, and there's no better way to experience it than with your Orange brethren.
If you're in Syracuse for the game there are tons of options and things to do. First, this afternoon, you should stop by Chuck's and meet Aaron Goldfarb (a distinguished Syracuse graduate) who will be signing copies of his new book, How to Fail: The Self-Hurt Guide. After that, cross the street and have some pops with Sean and the crew at Faegan's.
Saturday is a cacophony of activity:
- Starting around 1:00 P.M., get your fanny over to the official Troy Nunes is an Absolute Magician tailgate. All the details you need are in the link. I'll be getting there around 4:30 or so because I'm taking the choo-choo train to Syracuse (yes, I do think that it's 1850 and this is my most efficient means of travel).
- Sean and Mike Borkowski will be signing copies of How to Grow an Orange: The Right Way to Brainwash Your Child Into Becoming a Syracuse Fan over at the Syracuse Bookstore at 3:30 P.M. Orange Tip-Off will also be available for purchase/signing. As a fun game, try to get Sean to sign your book/magazine "Sean (Stanknuts) Keeley". It's the gift that keeps on giving.
- 7:00 P.M. is zulu time for the offensive against Connecticut.
- Post-Game: Varsity, Faegan's, the back seat of your parent's minivan . . . wherever you are, it's party time.
