I think it would be the coaching staff. I really got to know coach (Mike) Hopkins, who recruited me. Syracuse is a little bit differentt. Boeheim doesn't play a big role in the recruiting process. I would talk to a lot of head coaches a lot more than I talked to Boeheim. I didn't look at it like disrespect or anything like that. It's just how he recruits. He lets his assistants go after you. Every time I went up there I just felt more and more comfortable. You hang around the guys and your like I can see myself being apart of this. Being a part of Syraucuse is a great thing.

What to watch, Week 9 - College Football Nation Blog - ESPN
Syracuse: contender or pretender? The Orange are 5-2 and face Cincinnati after a big win over West Virginia. But who will we see this weekend against Cincinnati? The team that beat the Mountaineers, or the one that lost to Pittsburgh 45-14? Syracuse has proved it can win on the road, and Cincinnati could be without quarterback Zach Collaros, listed as questionable with a bruised knee. That would obviously help the Orange, who would benefit greatly with a win over the defending conference champs.
K-Love Gives Us TMI on Wes Johnson and Jonny Flynn : Orange Fizz – Syracuse Recruiting, Sports Rumors, Podcasts, Student Life
"Gotta talk about the rookie, Wes Johnson. He’s got this golden-boy image – and he is – but you just gotta watch him. He’s quiet, and it’s the quiet ones you’ve gotta keep an eye on.
