Wherein we determine Syracuse's chances of playing in the Beef O'Brady Bowl this season. First things first, let's look at the Big East Standings and remember the good times:
Well, it was fun while it was lasted. Still a lot of season to be played. And hey, could be a lot worse. We could be UConn. Hi UConn!
Syracuse Wins: Four (Akron, Maine, Colgate, South Florida)
Wins Needs For Beef: Three
Remaining Games: Six (WVU, Cincy, L'ville, Rutgers, UConn, BC)
Cumulative Record Of Remaining Opponents: 23-19
Most Likely To Beat: Louisville/Boston College - The Cardinals don't seem like the pushover we expected them to be while the Eagles are turning into the pushover we had no idea they were.
Most Likely To Lose To: West Virginia - The only ranked team on our schedule, it's the Mountaineer's Big East to lose.
Current Beef Bowl Opponent Projection (CUSA #5): Houston (3-3). Something tells me the Cougars are slowly sliding away. In the meantime we can still expect to see them in Tampa, which is fine. Who knows, maybe this is a preview to a future Big East rivalry...
Gordon Ramsey's Feelings On Syracuse's Chances For Beef: Oh...COME ON...you've completely ruined the season...do you even know how to f**king play f**king football??? SHUT IT DOWN!
