Syracuse University Athletics - From Where I Sit: Searching For Greatness
The win on Saturday was not great. Nor was it the end of the long process of building a great football program. 1. Syracuse: Postseason alert level has been elevated to Orange. Doug Marrone's 4-1 team is the talk of the Big East after taking down South Florida on the road. Syracuse should have a boisterous home crowd ready for the Pitt game this week in the biggest moment for the program since 2004.

Big things are expected out of Joseph (pictured), a 6-foot-7 Montreal product who played an auxiliary role in '09-10, averaging 10.8 points while Wesley Johnson and Andy Rautins took the bulk of the Orange's shots. Joseph was named to the Wooden Award's watch list and should lead Syracuse in scoring.
