DraftExpress has posted a (non-embeddable...in this day and age?) video diary of Jonny's visit to Tim Grover's Attack Center (which I imagine is a giant grass field with land mines and lasers that you have to run through every day). Jonny takes us through a day in the life of a player preparing for the NBA draft.
Based on the video, it apparently includes multi-tasking while driving an automobile, playing ping pong, hanging out in empty locker rooms and rummaging through your locker which just so happens to include the specific brand of jeans that is sponsoring the segment and then attending a photo shoot for said sponsor. Jonny's a savvy marketer already.
"Got a rental right now, Mazda 6. I think if I'm gonna be playing in the NBA, gonna need something a little better than that."
Mazda sponsorship...gone. Not so savvy now, are we?
Jonny only goes third-person twice, which is something of an upset. But I suppose Flynn can't be blamed for speaking of himself in such a way. After all, we now know there are four smaller Jonny Flynn's that, when combined, form the Mega-Jonny Flynn that we are used to seeing. Finally for the first time, we can see them in their natural states:
In order L to R, they are:
Big Jon a.k.a. The Red Lion -Big Jon don't take no guff from no one. The bad boy of the group, he has an aggressive nature and seldom hesitates to throw the first punch. Though he may not show it, he is a very emotional person, and his heart is always leading his mind in any decision.
J.J. a.k.a The Black Lion - The courageous leader and devoted student of the basketball arts. As a strict adherent to the Code of Hammurabi, he has a very strong sense of honor and justice. He may look tough and mean, but has a soft heart, especially when it comes to children and puppies. He is never late for a meal.
J-Boogie a.k.a. The Other Red Lion - Like the others, he is well-trained in the basketball arts and is rarely seen without a ball in hand. He uses his size and agility to his advantage. J-Boogie is not afraid to speak his mind and prefers to use his intellect to solve conflicts.
Jonathan a.k.a. The Other Black Lion - The easy-going and free-spirited Jonathan provides much of the comic relief. While he loves to relax, this Jonny also has an adventurous and creative side. He is the youngest of the four.
