Movin' On Up...

Couple weeks back I asked everyone with a link back to TNIAAM to change it from the blogspot URL to the classier www.NunesMagician.com due to an upcoming change. No reason to keep anyone in the dark any further so here goes...

The site has really grown in the last couple months, thanks mostly to all of you who keep coming back to see what shenanigans I can get myself into each day. So I thank you guys for that. I guess I can also thank the miserable state of Syracuse football...nothing gets eyeballs like bad news. With that growth comes my own personal expectations of the blog and what I can do with it. Me thinks it's time to grow up. No offense to the folks at Blogger who have put together a helluva tool (heeheehee), but there's only so much I can do from here.

So, I've decided to join the
SportsBlogs Nation. If you don't know who they are, they're a collection of sports blogs under one umbrella dedicated to doing...whatever it is they each do, I guess. If you're a fan of blogs such as Card Chronicle, Burnt Orange Nation, Black Heart Gold Pants or Sunday Morning Quaterback, then you're probably already acquainted with the SB Nation in some shape or form.

So what does it all mean? Well, in a very short time, the change is going to happen so you'll need to be prepared. Like I said previously, start using www.NunesMagician.com in all links, bookmarks, postings, etc. This blogspot URL isn't going anywhere, it's just not going to be updated much longer (don't worry, you'll know when that is) and the NunesMagician.com URL is going to begin pointing to the new site shortly (date TBD).

If you notice all of those SB Nation sites, you'll note that they all have a very specific look. You can expect the new and improved TNIAAM to have a similar look. While certain things are standard, others can be tweaked. I'm taking opinions, queries and requests now if there's anything you'd like to specifically see or not see on the new site. Feel free to leave a comment below or email me.

We're getting up and running behind the scenes as I write this. Not right away but soon after we're live we'll get all the old content transferred over to the new site. Plus like I said, this site isn't going anywhere. The Octonion shall live on in glory forever and ever.

Other than that, not much else I can say at this point. I'm giddy. The folks over there seem excited to have the site (and you guys) on board. And God knows they need more of a Big East presence over there...

So, big changes ahead. But, then again, not really...
