"Temple-esque"

That would be the describer used by Rivals.com's Tom Dienhart when discussing the recent past of the Syracuse football program. AWE. SOME.

We're
#87 in the Rivals/Yahoo! College Football Countdown (Hey, it's better than #98). Always a good way to kick things off, Tom mentions the punter, Rob Long, as one of the players to keep an eye on. And so it begins...

As for "star power," well, "To call anyone a "star" on this squad may not be apropos." Oof.
As for a strengths, we have one but its assuming that no one's legs fall off:
The Orange could – could – have a good running game. Running backs Delone Carter (hip) and Curtis Brinkley (leg) are back from injuries, and true freshman Averin Collier also will get a chance to make an impact on a rushing offense that ranked next-to-last in the nation last season. Doug Hogue is another possibility. Quarterback Andrew Robinson also can run.
You had me until you tried to tell me Andrew Robinson can run. Tom, let me tell you from experience...no he can't.
