The Syracuse Men's Lacrosse team is en route to the Washington D.C. to take part in NCAA Champions Day. The Orange will join 18 other championship teams that will be honored. Tuesday's event includes photos with the President, a guided White House tour and the President's remarks on the South Lawn.

Each squad will also present President Bush with a gift.
What is this? 12th century feudal England? Is John Desko gonna get down on one knee, bow his head and humbly offer a small token of gratitude to our High Lord and Protector for just a moment of his excellency's time? Now that I think about it, I'm pretty sure that's how every Cabinet meeting starts.
Sadly the UC-Irvine Anteaters won't be on hand again this year, robbing President Bush of his best material.
