I was trolling Syracuse.com to catch up on the latest news this morning and I came across a photo of The Lafayette Lancers lacrosse uniform. My guess (hope) is that this is a cancer-awareness version of their uniform.It got me thinking though...could this be a glimpse into what could have been for SU? I mean, those look like Syracuse's original colors:
In June 1872, Syracuse adopted rose pink and pea green as the official colors of the University and its athletic teams.I've never been so happy to be affiliated with a team that wears bright orange.
