Gregisms 4/15

Showcasing the accidental wit and wisdom of Syracuse coach Greg Robinson.

On former SU wide receiver Taj Smith, currently preparing for the NFL draft:

"First of all, he has work habits that he will not be outworked by anybody...I believe that. He's worked as hard as anybody I've been around. He's got great work habits; that's important. Two, he can run. And three, he can catch the ball and get deep and do those things."

"...he has work habits that he will not be outworked by anybody." Say what? I feel like there's a logical point in there but I'm not quite sure you nailed it, Greggers.

"...he can catch the ball and get deep and do those things." Greg Robinson doesn't have time for specifics. I believe that. I really do.

"I thought it was definitely worth his while to find out where his status was...He's been five years to college. I think it's important that he find out where he's at."

"He's been five years to college"? Who talks like that???
