If You Think About It, How Can You Fear Someone From Mary Land?

Because, let's face it, you know you're still wondering...

"A terrapin is a turtle that lives in fresh or brackish water."

And just because I want to be totally clear on this...

Brackish water (less commonly brack water) is water that has more salinity than fresh water, but not as much as seawater.

And just to cover all of my bases...

Water is a common chemical substance that is essential for the survival of all known forms of life.

Okay, who are these guys coming to town tonight?

Terrapins (fancy word for turtle)
College Park, Maryland
Red, White, Black & Gold
Lifetime Record Vs. Syracuse: 1-5

Last Meeting: Syracuse W 72-70 in 2004 NCAA Tournament 2nd Round

2007 Record: 19-14 (8-8)
Head Coach:
Gary Williams (19th season, 8th winningest active coach)
How'd They Get Here: Much the same way Syracuse did. Underachieved just enough in regular season and lost in ACC tournament. Here they are.)
Who Do We Need to Worry About:
"General" Greivis Vasquez (17.2 PPG), James Gist (15.7 PPG, 7.8 RPG)
Random fact to mention to friends during the game to make yourself seem more interesting than you really are: The last time the Terrapins were in the Carrier Dome, they won the NCAA East Regional en route to their national championship in 2002.
