Yeah, I'll take that.
The Orange won a big road game Wednesday night, post-season implications or not, beating Seton Hall 85-73. The Orange seems quick to put the Pittsburgh game behind them in the first half, shooting 20-of-40 from the field in the first half, holding the Pirates to 31-percent shooting and taking a 46-31 lead into the locker room. But the second half almost proved to be a repeat performance of the "last three minutes." The Orange went cold with about six minutes left and Seton Hall got within seven with 3:35 to go. Thanks to Paul Harris who chalked up quite a few of his 14 points late, this time they held on.
The Orange now move into a tie with Villanova for 9th in the conference at 8-9. Due to the tie-breaker, they would currently be the 10th seed. The Orange have a chance to climb as high as 8th if they can beat Marquette this weekend and get a loss from Nova and two losses from Cincy.
And so...Cuse Nation starts wondering once again how we can pull this NCAA thing off.
