Like You Had Anything Better To Do This Weekend...

It's a full slate of Cuse-related goodness this weekend. If you live in the Syracuse-area sort your TV schedule out. If you're like, get your Internet GameTrackers and LiveBlog sources ready.

Saturday, 1:00pm ET
Syracuse Women's Basketball vs. Cincinnati
The No. 22/24 Orange (19-6, 7-5) return to action to try and quell their recent dip and win 20 games in a season for only the
third time since 1981. The Bearcats come into the game 11-14 (2-11) and it SHOULD be an easy win for the Orange to right their ship. Almost as importantly, it's Daddy Daughter Day at the Dome! Dads who come to the game with their daughters get special ticket prices for themselves and their little one and the first 50 dads and daughters will receive free t-shirts! (way to splurge, SU!) But what if you only have a useless son? No worries...go buy a wig and some Hello Kitty gear and voila! Besides, he's probably in the basement right now trying on your wife's clothing, playing with a doll house and destroying what little remains of your hopes for grandchildren.
Prediction:
Syracuse 60, Cincy 50

Sunday, 12:00pm ET

Syracuse Women's Lacrosse vs. Dartmouth
The women's lacrosse team (1-0) is ranked #5 in the country. Did you know this? Apparently not, as only 568 were on hand to see their 24-3 win against Canisius last weekend. This time, it's #17 Dartmouth for Gary Gait's squad so we'll see how the Orange match-up against a quality opponent. Well, we won't SEE it. We'll read about it or hear about it from one of the 671 who attend.

Prediction:
Syracuse 17, Dartmouth 11

Sunday, 2:00pm ET

Syracuse Men's Basketball vs. Notre Dame
At a time when the Orange
(17-10, 7-7) are in desperate need of a quality win, there is perhaps no better team to face that the Fighting Irish (20-5, 10-3). The Irish are ranked #21 in the nation and the Orange have won three of the last five against Notre Dame, including two at the Joyce Center. Paul Harris put up great numbers against the Irish last season and we can look for him to do the same this time as well. Of course, how the Orange handle Luke Harangody and which Arinze Onuaku shows up will probably be the deciding factor. No way to tell which SU team shows up, so I'll hope for the best.
Prediction: Syracuse 71, Notre Dame 67

Sunday, 3:30pm ET

Syracuse Men's Lacrosse vs. Army
The Syracuse men’s lacrosse team (1-0) , fresh off their decimination of Villanova last weekend, welcomes Army (1-0) to the Carrier Dome. Believe it or not, this is the Orange's first opportunity to make it to 2-0 in four years. The Black Knights opened the season with a similairly-impressive win, beating VMI 16-3. The Orange has won 11 of the last 12 meetings between the two but of course that lone loss came last season when the Black Knights won 8-6. Let's hope it was a one-year wonder.
Prediction:
Syracuse 15, Army 9
