Big Trouble In Little Pittsburgh

Jack Burton: I feel pretty good. I'm not... I'm not scared at all. I feel kind of... feel kind of invincible.
Wang Chi: Me, too. I've got a very positive attitude about this.
Jack Burton: Good, me too......Is it getting hot in here, or is it just me?
-Big Trouble In Little China

Syracuse alum Anthony Smith did his best Jack Burton imitation yesterday, guaranteeing a victory when his Pittsburgh Steelers face the New England Patriots this weekend. Watch, courtesy of Boston.com and thanks to Axe for the heads-up:

Many feel Smith may have just guaranteed the exact opposite of what he's intending (you know how touchy the Patriots get about the whole respect thing) while others note that this is a classic example of "Bad Idea Jeans." Whatever the case, I can guarantee you this...a collective nation woke up this morning never having heard of Smith and will now know him as "that crazy guy on the Steelers." Hey, it's a start.

Besides, just remember what ol' Anthony Smith does when the earth quakes, the poison arrows fall from the sky, and the pillars of Heaven shake. Yeah, Anthony Smith just looks that big old storm right in the eye and says, "Give me your best shot. I can take it."
