The Dulcet Tones Of Greg Robinson's CoachSpeak Will Put Your Mind At Ease

No, Coach Greg Robinson is not on the hot seat. That is not to say that he isn't on his way. Syracuse fans are not Alabama fans. We won't call for your head after one loss. But we will call for your head after three horrible seasons, and this is looking more and more likely with each passing day.

A good strategy at this point would probably be for a head coach to take the blame on his shoulders and make a rousing, passionate speech to reporters that would deflect criticism from his players and make the discussion all about the coach's intensity and desire to win at all costs.

Not surprisingly, this does not become Greg Robinson.

"You know what, you've got to get over it," Robinson said. "The moment you start feeling sorry for yourself, you've got problems. I would expect our team not to behave in that manner. Same thing (with the coaches)."

"Hindsight's 20-20."

"I thought in the first half, the offensive line did a good job of protecting. I thought we were proficient at times."

"It comes down to making certain plays when you had opportunities to make certain plays."

And my favorite...

"I feel like I should've done a better job in there at halftime. I really do,"

In the words of The
Colonel..."Oh you think so doctor???"
