Yeah, I know. The theme for 2007 as mandated by Syracuse University is "Sudden Impact." I guess if you like your mantras to be abstract themes devoid of specific value, have at it. Me? I like to know what my endgame is. I set a goal and I see it through and that's how I'd like to see my football team operate.
Now I'm not an unrealistic man. I'm willing to accept the fact that the 2007 Syracuse Orange will not go 12-0. But that doesn't mean I don't have a lofty goal in mind for the Orange this year. And with that, I give you my mantra for the 2007 season. A rallying cry that will lead us to victory...actually it only requires that we are led to victory half of the time. Which takes some of the pressure off.
