ESPN Loves Syracuse...For Now

The Big East announced their television schedule today and the Orange have quite a few games making the cut, that is, at least for now. Most of the Orange's television appearances will be late-season contests that will require the Orange to give the network a good enough reason to televise their impending blowout loss.

ESPN
Fri., Aug. 31 - WASHINGTON at SYRACUSE 8 p.m.
ESPNU
Sat., Sept. 15 - ILLINOIS at SYRACUSE Noon
ESPN Regional
Sept. 22 - SYRACUSE at LOUISVILLE*
Oct. 6 - WEST VIRGINIA at SYRACUSE*
Oct. 13 - RUTGERS at SYRACUSE*
Nov. 10 - USF at SYRACUSE*

*Each of these telecasts are likely dependent on whether or not Syracuse still has a respectable record going into these games.

Also, some notable Big East games not involving Greg Robinson's offensive schemes.

ESPN2
Sat., Sept. 8 - USF at AUBURN 9 p.m.
ESPN
Thurs., Nov. 8 - LOUISVILLE at WEST VIRGINIA 7:30 p.m.
Thurs., Nov. 29 - RUTGERS at LOUISVILLE 7:30 p.m.

I don't see WVU-Rutgers anywhere so assume that they're holding out for ABC on that one. If not, probably ESPN. Come to think of it, I don't see Syracuse-Buffalo either. I'm sure that'll make the schedule sooner or later...
