Former Eagle (and I mean that in the loosest definition possible) Perry Patterson is getting a tryout with the Atlanta Falcons, according to Donnie Webb.
You know its just not Perry year when you couple the Eagles fiasco with the fact that Atlanta-Journal Constitution can't even get the man's name right in their write-up (Who's Perry Watson?).
What was great about the Philadelphia opportunity was that Perry had the chance to work closely with Donovan McNabb, a QB who is a proven veteran, a Syracuse guy and from all accounts, a model citizen.
In Atlanta?
Yeah, not so much.

Oh, and while we're on the subject of former Orange in the NFL, Josh Shear over at CNY in the Pros Blog noted that Donovin Darius might end up in Buffalo.
