QuickStick Update 3/5

The Orange, they of multiple national titles, too-many-to-count Final Fours and top rankings year-in-and-year-out...are 1-2. The Orange lost to Virginia 8-7 despite out-shooting the Cavaliers 37-28. It's officially the story of the season...Cuse just can't put the ball in the goal.

At least there weren't that many people there to see it.

"...A record crowd of 20,180 gathered inside M&T Bank Stadium for the Inside Lacrosse Face-Off Classic. The attendance figure broke the regular-season single game record of 19,850 set by Johns Hopkins and Maryland in 1987."

Oh.

The Orange has now lost to Virginia four straight times and drops to 1-2. The schedule does not get any kinder with Georgetown, Johns Hopkins, Loyola and Princeton in the foreseeable future. Looks like we picked the wrong season to quit sniffing glue.
