Demetris Wilkins was the only Orange in the starting line-up to score double digits but Eric Devendorf came off the bench with his hot hand, scoring 19 and leading the Orange to a 68-58 victory over Rutgers. A convincing victory for Syracuse despite the fact that were yet again out rebounded (34-33) and committed more turnovers (15-11). Daryl Watkins added 9 points and 12 rebounds to the victory.
