Upstate New York's Largest Indoor Frozen Cocktail Party

The 159th entry in the Madison-Onondaga County War is tomorrow when Colgate and Syracuse tip off. The Orange holding a decisive 112-46 edge in the series, including a slightly impressive 40 straight. The Orange won last year's contest 58-35 (Is that correct? Are we sure they didn't play a football game?)

The Orange look to rebound (pun intended) after two losses to quality opponents by beating up the little guys and figuring out how the heck you get three senior bigmen to play well at the same time. Currently averaging 16 turnovers a game, the Orange are only better than South Florida in that category in-conference. The teams top four scorers are also leading the way in the turnover margin and Boeheim has called out freshman Paul Harris specifically to bring his game up, specifically behind the arc:

"He's 1-for-13 from the 3-point line. He thinks he can make them all I'll give him that much. He is confident."

For Colgate, one player finds
a very lofty goal within his grasp:

Senior guard Jon Simon (Phoenix, AZ) is Colgate’s leading scorer with 14.3 points per game. Simon is looking to become the 25
th player in school history to reach 1,000 points in a career. He needs 118.

I don't know if he's looking to get it over with this weekend, but, I've followed Syracuse long enough to know it's not out of the question.
