Quick, where did Randy Moss attend college? Marshall, Florida State or Notre Dame? Little bit of all three, actually. But of course he's remembered for being a standout wide reciever at Marshall, which is why he's being honored with the The Randy Moss Return Man Award. Apparently Moss returned kicks as well and led the nation in 1996 in return yards. Good for Randy, I suppose. At least something's going well in his life. Still, wouldn't The Rocket Ismael Award make more sense?
The inaugural award will be given to the top returner in Division 1-A college football this season. The finalists for the Randy Moss Return Man award will be announced on December 13th, with the winner being selected a month later at the North-South College All-Star game.
