The season's first update on Syracuse's current crop of commits.
If you followed my "Catching Up With the Commits" posts this fall, you noticed one weekly statline that was generally...eye-popping at the very least. DeVante McFarlane played quarterback and running back for Half Hollow Hills West on Long Island, and in many ways, was a one man wrecking crew.
To kick off today's national signing day, let's take a look at how Syracuse University reels in the recruits.
As the high school football seasons wind down around the country, here's a look at the future Orangemen who are still playing.
Taking a look at newest Orange commit Ron Thompson, as well as the rest of Syracuse's incoming class.
""The history and some of the guys that have come out of Syracuse like Donovan McNabb and Dwight Freeney," Thompson said. "They're young and their offensive coordinator (Greg Adkins) is really what got me. They're energetic and I'm really excited to play for them...How they care about their players, and how you can trust what they're saying, and they're not telling you something just because you want to hear it."
