It's that time of year again. We did an awesome job of getting Doug Marrone into the finals of the Liberty Mutual Coach of the Year awards last year, so let's jump on this one early this season. Doug's already at 14, and it's a close race. Remember, clearing your cache is your friend.
"Herbert H. Lehman High School, with an enrollment of more than 4,000 students in the Bronx, has never played a home football game simply because its field, at 80 yards, is too short for regulation contests. ... "Lehman’s football program has traditionally been among the city’s elite. It has sent players to a number of Division I colleges. Some of its alumni have made it to the N.F.L. One of them, Doug Marrone, is the football coach at Syracuse University."
ESPN Insider Article on how recruiting has changed since Marrone was an assistant coach.
I declare a mutiny.
19 players have left the SU football program since Doug Marrone took over. ESPN put a story on it's homepage a month ago when 11 players had left Tennessee. Keep trying, Lane.

Buffalo Bisons game rained out. Sorry WNY, Doug will catch you guys next time fo sho.
Doug Marrone is online. And he's sentient.
Finally, Doug! And that's really sweet of you to link to my site from your page...I don't know what I owe this honor to. We look forward to hearing from about the inner workings of SU football, I just hope Doug tunes it down with the redhead slurs.
You probably just want to go ahead and join your local rotary club now you can guarantee your spot.
