If you're a believer in karma then you'd probably like to hear that Syracuse head coach Jim Boeheim will be on Katz's Korner, ESPNU's college basketball show with host Andy Katz, on Monday. The show starts at 4 p.m. ET.
As it turned out, Boeheim, the king of holding grudges, wasn't happy with how Katz either dealt with the Bernie Fine situation last year or revealed details about James Southerland's academic issue. (It is turning out that the former was probably more of an issue than the latter, but it is still unclear what the real deal was.)
Anyway, on Saturday, a few hours before Syracuse beat Marquette to advance to the Final Four, the Post-Standard's Syracuse basketball twitter account reported both parties shook hands after clearing the air.
This happened a few weeks after Boeheim boycotted Katz's NCAA Tournament preview show, which featured a "live" interview with every head coach participating in the 68-team field, for the second straight year. This year, ESPNU replayed an interview Boeheim did with The SVP & Russillo radio show earlier that day.
All-in-all, its seems like the Boeheim-Katz feud is finished and it will be interesting to see if the two address it later, on the show. It also proves that Boeheim can forgive and move-on. (Right?)
Winning probably has a lot to do with that.
