For 24 hours last week, it looked like the Battle on the Midway between the Syracuse Orange and San Diego St. Aztecs was in danger of not happening. Then, former New York Giant Phil McConkey stepped in. What???

I hope you weren't one of those people who coughed up $4,999 to watch the Syracuse Orange take on the San Diego St. Aztecs in the Battle on the Midway on November 9th.

Syracuse and San Diego State might not be playing on the U.S.S. Midway if financial issues aren't cleared up.
