Stay connected for news and updates

California native Trevon Trejo looks to follow in the footsteps of Deon Goggins and Markus Pierce-Brewster as a top west coast pass rusher for the Orange.

Syracuse has had a lot of success with JuCo defensive linemen from California, and look continue that trend with highly-touted DE Trevon Trejo from Golden West Junior College, who committed back in December.

Stat Me: 29 tackles and three sacks for Trejo this season.

Seein' Stars: Scout - 3*, Rivals - 2*, 247 - 3*, ESPN - 3*

Who's Crying?: Michigan St, Nevada, New Mexico, New Mexico St

Money Quote:

"Syracuse was one of my dream schools – especially after I watched that movie, ‘The Express.’ The history, that’s pretty much what got me"

Which SU Coach Gets a Bonus?: Greg Adkins was the main man out west, as usual.

Fun Fact: Trejo is the definition of a raw talent. He didn't play defensive end until his senior year of high school after moving over from receiver and outside linebacker.

Highlights and Game Film: Hudl has a bunch of Trejo video here.
