Syracuse Orange football season tickets have already been on sale for awhile, for those looking to get in on 2019’s hype train before it completely leaves the station. But if six games just seems like too large of a commitment, SU has a solution for you:
The three-game package, as has been the case in the past, let’s you pick any three games for a reduced rate from the single-game pricing. The math’s pretty similar to the full season package in many respects. But if you know you can’t go to all six and don’t want to deal with reselling, it’s an option.
This time around, it’s also the only way you can currently get lower bowl tickets for Syracuse’s home opener/homecoming game against the Clemson Tigers...
Some football ticket pricing info dropped this morning.

It's $65 for an upper-deck seat for the Clemson game. Lower-bowl ticket is only availabe --for now -- through purchase of season tickets.
No matter what we say about the Tigers (and we do say a lot), that game’s definitely on any three-game ticket package you’re choosing. That still leaves two more contests to pick from, however. So which ones are the best to go with? The selections (nicknames ours):
“Just Win, Baby”
Named for late SU alum Al Davis’s famous catchphrase, this package gives you Western Michigan and Holy Cross — the most likely wins on the home slate. These games may not be the most compelling from start to finish, but they give you what you’re asking for: Wins.
“We Should Still Be in the Big East”
Note: We should not. But with this package, you’ll get home games against Boston College and Pittsburgh, who are also former members of the old conference we started. They’re also rivals of ours, for better or worse.
The New Middle Three
When we used to deride Rutgers more often in this space, some entrepreneurial SUNJ fans would arrive to point out that the Scarlet Knights had PLENTY of conference titles from their days in the Middle Three... an informal league comprised of Rutgers, along with Lehigh and Lafayette. Pairing us with BC and Wake Forest would be the same sort of arrangement. You’ll get both of those games here, and a nice spread of when you’re going to games (Sept. 14, Nov. 2, Nov. 30 — feel free to swap the Eagles and Pitt if you’d rather one per month).
Masshole Super Pack
Holy Cross and Boston College. Need we say more?
