The Syracuse Orange are coming off their bye week for a Homecoming Orange Central Cassillo #DisloyalIdiot Bowl game versus the North Carolina Tar Heels. Dino Babers started the week off with his press conference, which included this week’s depth chart:
Syracuse TE Ravian Pierce is back on the team’s depth chart with an ‘or’ next to his name. Has missed three games with an undisclosed upper-body injury. Returned to practice in shorts and a jersey today. pic.twitter.com/yuGtovDgTl

A few notes:
- Ravian Pierce returns to the depth chart after a three week absence with an “upper body injury.” The Syracuse tight ends haven’t been all that involved to date, but Pierce is the best combination of pass blocker and receiver that the Orange have.
- Dino Babers mentioned that Andre Szymt was placed on scholarship. The arguable best kicker in college football was named a midseason All-American by ESPN.
- Antwan Cordy and Andre Cisco get the “OR” attached to their names, which likely doesn’t surprise after the Pitt game. Babers has yet to share any update on Cordy’s health status, though we’ll find out soon enough on Saturday. In any case, Cisco has also played well this year, so that at least helps.
Any other thoughts? Looking forward to the Cassillo Bowl? Let us know in the comments.
