On Thursday, the ACC released future years for its ongoing rotational schedule with the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. These don’t have official dates yet, but if you’d like to prepare to plan things out for 20 years from now, this is the release for you.

As you’ll likely notice above, the Syracuse Orange will face Notre Dame in 2026, 2029, 2034 and 2037. Those 2029 and 2037 dates will be at the Carrier Dome, or whatever the hell we’re calling the renovated stadium by that point.
Syracuse last played the Fighting Irish in 2016, falling 50-33 in a wild shootout at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. The Orange will visit Notre Dame in 2018 -- a game that was moved from September to November.
SU is 3-5 all-time vs. the Irish, including two straight defeats. Syracuse hasn’t played at Notre Dame since the 24-23 upset of 2008 that we all know and love. The Fighting Irish haven’t visited the Carrier Dome since 2003 (a 38-12 Orange win).
Along with next year’s game and the four announced today, the two teams also play in 2022 (at SU) and 2025 (at Notre Dame). I’d get worried about strength of schedule for the latest dates, but half the kids who will be on those teams haven’t even been born yet, so... pass.
