Class of 2017 four-star prospect Jordan Tucker is beginning to schedule official visits.
As we reported on TNIAAM back on March 24, Syracuse had visited with Tucker and the forward was planning a trip back to New York - his former home - and during that visit a trip to Syracuse was likely, a source told TNIAAM.
Tucker will take his official visit to Syracuse this weekend, he tweeted out on Wednesday. This will be his third official visit, as he’s already been to Villanova and Indiana.
Change of plans... I will be taking an official visit to Syracuse this weekend April 7-9

Villanova, Oregon, Syracuse and Georgia Tech are Tucker’s final schools. He was recently high on Indiana, but after the firing of Tom Crean the Hoosiers were eliminated from contention.
Back in December, Tucker eliminated Syracuse from his recruitment and was down to Indiana and Villanova. Oregon and Georgia Tech then began to show interest, and SU recently got back involved after Gerry McNamara and Jim Boeheim took a trip to Georgia to meet with the 6-foot-8 scorer.
He’s widely regarded as a Top 50 player in the country, and would give the Orange another scorer on next year’s roster.
Tucker is aiming for an end of April commitment date, although nothing is finalized yet.
