Player Breakdown:
At 5’11”, Johnson is projected to primarily work as a slot receiver in Dino Babers’ offense, but it isn’t out of the question he could see work as an outside receiver as well. With both Brisly Estime and Amba Etta-Tawo no longer in the mix, there will be plenty of reps up for grabs next fall.
Johnson led Booker T. Washington with 50 receptions for 764 yards and seven touchdowns as a senior, according to the Miami Herald. He finished the season with three games of 100+ receiving yards. Johnson is rated the No. 132 wide receiver for this recruiting cycle by 247Sports.
