SB Nation ACC Power Rankings *Week 5*

It'll be interesting to see if the love-fest between Louisville and Clemson fans can survive the weekend. Cardinal fans had seemingly found their fellow red-neck brethren in Clemson fans, something that they were unable to find during their brief cameo in the Big East. So long as Cardinal fans were happy with "moral victories" against Clemson, Clemson fans were happy to let them ride in the middle seat of their ACC pick-up. This year however, Louisville wants to drive. I don't really care who wins, I just hope whoever does, does so by about six touchdowns.

Below are the aggregate ACC Power Rankings from the SB Nation ACC Blogs: Tomahawk Nation, State of the U, Shakin the Southland, Streaking the Lawn, Cardiac Hill, Gobbler Country, and From the Rumble Seat. And updated with Tarheel Blog

ACC Power Rankings

412747084.0.jpg 1. Lousiville 106.5 pts (7.5) - Marshall fared about as well as everybody else has against Louisville, which is to say, poorly.

412747108.0.jpg 2. Clemson Tigers 103.5 pts - Clemson looked impressive for the first time this year with a win at Georgia Tech Thursday night. Louisville visits Saturday.

412747104.0.jpg 3. Florida State 92.5 - Made short work of a good South Florida team.

412747106.0.jpg 4. Miami 87.5 (0.5) - Even with a win over Georgia Tech this weekend, doubters will persist.

412747083.0.jpg 5. North Carolina 82.5 pts - UNC rallied late at home to beat Pittsburgh. All questions about this team should be answered this weekend against Florida State.

412747096.0.jpg 6. Virginia Tech 75.5 pts - Thumped an ECU team that previously beat N.C. State

412747085.0.jpg 7. (tie) Wake Forest 58.5 pts - Went on the road and beat an undefeated Indiana. I'm far from a believer, but results clearly dictate that this team should be higher.

412747183.0.jpg 8. (tie) Pittsburgh 58.5 pts - Pitt let another one get away that I'm sure they'd like to have back.

412747097.0.jpg 9. Georgia Tech 45.5 pts - The Yellow Jackets were a complete no-show on offense against Clemson.

412747098.0.jpg 10. Duke 38.5 pts - Duke went into Notre Dame and took home their first win of the season. As one might expect, people at Notre Dame were immediately fired.

412747087.0.jpg 11. N.C. State 35.5 pts - ACC Bloggers remain extremely impressed with NCSU's wins over William & Mary and Old Dominion.

412747105.0.jpg 12. Syracuse 24 pts - Did what UVA could not the previous week, went to Connecticut and won.

412747086.0.jpg 13. Boston College 12.5 pts - Beat Wagner the way one would expect a mediocre ACC school to beat Wagner..

412747107.0.jpg 14. Virginia 11.5 pts - Upset Central Michigan at home. Credit where it's due, that was very good win. Not just for UVA, that would be a good win for anyone of the bottom ten or so schools on this list.
