Given ESPN and the ACC's close ties, and Syracuse's proximity to Bristol, Conn., the "ESPN Car Wash" is a typical rite of passage for a new football coach. Scott Shafer did it back in yesteryear (2014). And given Dino Babers's popularity at last week's ACC Football Kickoff, it only makes sense the Syracuse Orange head coach would be making the rounds sooner or later.
Ends up it's sooner. And sooner is today.

SCHEDULE/INFO: https://t.co/0hP2PTrYwp pic.twitter.com/0jAii1gynz
SU was nice enough to pull together the handy schedule above, but we provide some further details on his day out in Bristol below (all times ET).
- 10:45 a.m. -- ESPN.com CFB Digital: assuming this is a video segment?
- 11 a.m. -- Championship Drive Podcast: a college football podcast that actually stays on-topic (unlike ours).
- 11:30 a.m. -- Social Media: takeover? Sounds like we'll have a lot of movie references.
- 11:45 a.m. -- SCEU: "SportsCenter enhancement unit," as Google tells me. Sure.
- 12:05 p.m. -- espnW: is this typical of the car wash? Either way, I'm a fan of combining his candor with espnW's perspective.
- 12:25 p.m. -- ESPN Images: Dino takes a bunch of pictures.
- 12:35 p.m. -- CFB Playoff Marketing: Babers gets to appear in some promo spots, even if Syracuse won't sniff the Playoff... this year.
- 12:45 p.m. -- Interview with Travis Haney: Haney covers the game from a national angle, so keep a look out for the likely resulting feature.
- 1 p.m. -- Interview with Andrea Adelson: Adelson leads the ACC Blog and could also be writing up a solid feature coming out of this.
- 1:15 p.m. -- Interview with Jared Shanker: Jared largely covers the 'Noles. It'll be interesting to see if his angle is more about how SU matches up with them.
- 1:30 p.m. -- Interview with David Hale: Hale is typically the most pro-Syracuse ESPN blogger (he is an alum, after all). You'll enjoy whatever he ends up writing, I'm sure.
- 1:45 p.m. -- Interview with Brett McMurphy: "McSources" is equal parts source-building and interview here. Maybe they talk scheduling? (PLEASE?!)
- 2 p.m. -- ESPNU: Likely a quick studio interview with whichever hosts are on this afternoon.
- 2:20 p.m. -- SportsCenter (taping): This will probably air during one of the evening segments as a five-minute or so in-depth look at the program and Babers's offense.
- 2:40 p.m. -- The Undefeated: Being one of the few African American college football coaches (especially in the P5), Dino's perspective here should be fascinating and eye-opening.

And that's it. Lots on the docket for Coach Babers, and lots we'll actually be able to see in real-time too. Looking forward to a very Orange day at the worldwide leader.
