Syracuse University alumn J. Daniel Pluff is set to launch a local talk show that will address the concerns and talking points of events in the Syracuse community. Pluff, the founder of "Financial FItness" on WCNY-TV in Syracuse, will initiate his new talk show "Central" in less than two weeks.
The first guest, you ask? None other than your favorite Syracuse Orange Basketball Hall-of-Famer, Jim Boeheim.
The Heimer will chew the fat with Pluff, speaking on his nine game ACC suspension, coaching career and what he likes about Central New York. It's long been stated that if Boeheim could live anywhere in the world, it'd be Syracuse, NY. We'll find out if that's truly true.
The first episode will premiere on Sunday, Oct. 4 at 10 p.m. on FOX 68 (WSYT-TV) and is slated for 30 minutes.
Pluff is a Newhouse alumn and current stockbroker for Morgan Stanley. He hosted the aforementioned "Financial Fitness" for roughly 20 years, so the talk show won't be uncharted waters for Pluff. Although it's uncertain how regularly Central will air, fans of the show can stay updated at foxsyracuse.com. What a way to kick off the show by grabbing the most iconic man in Syracuse as your opening act.
