Former Syracuse Orange forward Chris McCullough is now expected to be drafted in the late first round, according to Draft Express. The Bronx (NY) native is projected to land with the Brooklyn Nets.
McCullough averaged 9.3 points and 6.9 rebounds in 16 games for the Orange. His season was cut short on January 11th due to a torn ACL.
Although Chris was unable to participate, the 6-10 forward interviewed with 13 teams during the NBA Combine, according to his agent.
Steve Pina, McCullough's agent, told Syracuse.com that his clients progress has gone "unbelievably well."
McCullough could really make an impact at the ASM pro day, which will be held on June 12, Mike Waters writes. The ASM Sports agency will hold the pro day for all of their clients. Chris is expected to interview with various teams, according to his agent.
Pina says McCullough's rehab is still on track and there hasn't been any setbacks.
