All in all, eighteen former Syracuse Orange football players are going to step onto the Ensley Athletic Center on Tuesday fighting for the dream to hear their name called during the 2015 NFL Draft. For most of them, it's probably not going to happen, but, that doesn't mean you don't give it a shot.
Here's the list of SU players who will be participating in Pro Day this afternoon.
RB Adonis Ameen-Moore, DT Eric Crume, LB Dyshawn Davis, S Ritchy Desir, S Durell Eskridge, WR Adrian Flemming, RB Prince-Tyson Gulley, OL Sean Hickey, S Darius Kelly, WR Jeremiah Kobena, LB Cameron Lynch, OL John Miller, CB Brandon Reddish, DE Micah Robinson, LS Sam Rodgers, DE Trevon Trejo, DE Robert Welsh and WR Jarrod West.
Almost certainly, Hickey and Eskridge are going to get drafted (but never say never). After that, it's unlikely but you can expect some of those names to receive an Undrafted Free Agent invite to camp. And then it's up to them to get noticed.
A question that will get to as the draft gets closer is, which Syracuse player will the New York Giants select because Tom Coughlin can't help himself? I would have thought Hickey would be a lock for this one but it sounds like the team has some interest in Eskridge as well. We shall see.
