Syracuse WLAX Playing Seven Games on Saturday. Wait, What?

Bill Streicher-USA TODAY Sports

Syracuse Orange women's lacrosse does not ease gently into Fall Ball. Instead, they'll play seven different games over the course of one day. Well, kinda.

The Orange will play seven contests against Albany, Yale, Cortland, Cornell, Niagara and Adelphi. Each game, with the exception of the match up against Cortland, will consist of two 25-minute halves with a five minute halftime.

Syracuse will split its roster into two teams. Syracuse A takes on Albany at 10 a.m. before facing Yale at 12:30 p.m. Both games will be played at Wohl Field. Syracuse B plays Cornell at 11:15 a.m. on the football practice field, Niagara at 12:30 p.m. on the infield of the new outdoor track on Skytop Road and Cortland at 3 p.m. on the football practice field. In the last game of the day, Syracuse A takes on Cornell at the outdoor track at 4:15 p.m.

Head on over there to support SU WLAX. Not sure where to go? Just head in the general direction of South Campus and you'll be sure to find someone playing lacrosse eventually.
