While losing C.J. scoring, leadership and calm in the clutch would be significant, that roster has a lot of potential and depth that this year's roster has been lacking. Maybe Grant and Ennis are as good as gone and I'm just wasting time considering how good they could be next year if they stayed, but man, what if....
Syracuse's recent struggles have bummed me out about how well they will do in the NCAA Tournament; but it has given me some glimmer of hope for next year. It may seem like a pretty big "What If", but what if Jerami's back problems have hurt his draft stock to the point where he might consider coming back next year? What if Tyler Ennis showing that he is human in late game situations affects his draft stock? Would the disappoint of an early exit from the tournament make either or both of them want to come back?
