Donte' Greene Now Playing Basketball for Dubai's Al-Nasr

Spruce Derden-USA TODAY Sports

It's been a long and winding road for former Syracuse basketball player Donte' Greene, but perhaps the 27-year old has finally found his landing spot. Per his Twitter feed and Dubai club Al-Nasr, his career has now taken him to the United Arab Emirates.

God's speed finding any information on Al-Nasr -- definitely struggled to locate anything this morning, but it's confirmed he's playing over there. As you probably already know, Greene's previous stops have included the NBA's Sacramento Kings (four seasons), Puerto Rico's Atleticos de San Germain (one game), China's Dongguan Leopards (one season), plus a bunch of D-League and Summer League squads.

Best of luck with this latest endeavor, Donte'. While his departure from Syracuse has always irked a lot of fans, he's shown promise on and off as a pro, which is why he's been able to generate interest from clubs around the world, even if he can rarely stick around for too long. Maybe this is the long-term home that finally works out.
