After 17 Weeks of NFL Football only 12 teams remain I was set to break down the teams and their orange connections but then I realized "Who are we rooting for?" becomes the simplest it's ever been in recent years. The New England Patriots are the the only NFL playoff team with any active former Orange. Those players are two of the Pats' defensive starters none other than Chandler Jones & Steve Gregory. So that being said it's New England, the #2 seed in the AFC, who we should be pulling for this NFL post-season (Sorry Bills fans). The Patriots received a first-round bye and will host the highest remaining seed (Bengals, Colts, or Chiefs) next Saturday (1/11) @ 8:15 PM EST on CBS.
Yes, technically Dwight Freeney would get another ring if the San Diego Chargers, current #6 seed in the AFC, won the Super Bowl, but since he's on IR it's hard to root for the Bolts. Sand Diego plays Sunday (1/5) @ #3 seed Cincinnati 1 PM EST on CBS.
