Storylines abound in bracketology

First, let me say I know predicting brackets in January is crazy to begin with.

Second, let me also so that it's fun to look at some of the early projected matchups.

That being said, check out Lunardi's latest: http://espn.go.com/mens-college-basketball/bracketology

As we all kind of expect, SU is a no. 1 seed in the East. But look who they would play: LOB CITY/FISTING U. Not sure if I'm excited or terrified of that.

Now, provided they finish business in Rd. 1, stories heading into the second game would be about either a rematch with Michigan or a classic BE tilt vs. the Hoyas. The committee, no matter what they'd say, would LOVE that.

If SU makes it to NYC for the 2nd weekend, well, the stories could include a game against Manhattan (doubtful) or a game against UConn/Nova, or Pitt, or MSU, or the recent tourney darlings VCU.

Meanwhile in opening weekend, in Buffalo, I could see a large contingent of SU fans adopting FSU as its proxy team and hoping the Noles knock of LSU and then OSU.

Anyway, looks like a good field, and a decent chance to make a deep run if things break right.
